Here Comes The Bride ...

When Marci Chevian-Hooper performed in New London, Connecticut, she did not expect to see a floating image of a woman in a long white gown while she was performing with her blues band, Ms. Marci and the Lovesick Hounds. She originally thought it was somebody standing outside the window, but later learned that was not possible because the window was 20-feet off the ground. She waited until after the show to tell somebody at the hotel and that was when they told her who it was. Marci saw the ghost of a bride who fell down the grand winding staircase on her wedding day, broke her neck, and died at her husbands' feet. People who see the bride see different images. Floating orbs, flashing lights, and the image of the a woman in a gown are the ones reported.

The hotel was also reported to have the ghosts of two children who died in a 1938 hurricane. People have said that they heard the children running in the halls. The ghost of the golfer Payne Stwart has also been spotted there. The Smoking Gun, a team specialized in paranormal phenomena, reported that last November they found evidence of unexplained voices, temperatures, and electromagnetic field readings. Still, some people do not believe. New London's 77-year-old municipal historian, Sally Ryan, says there was no tragic bride. She also said there were so ghosts of children and that it could all be rattling pipes or mice.

Haunted places have always been a part of History in the US. The White House is actually one of the most haunted places. Stories of seeing ghosts of President's or their children have been told.
